About Us

We first met in 2017 during Rio's Carnaval, where our love story began amidst the vibrant samba beats. By the following year, we had already moved together to Germany, embarking on a journey filled with countless adventures and many shared challenges. In 2019, we had our civil wedding, but the pandemic delayed our dream of having a nice celebration. Now, five years later, this day is almost here, and we can't wait to celebrate it with you. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Ceremony's Place:

The ceremony and party will both happen in Solar Real, an event’s house in Santa Teresa, a very historic neighbourhood in downtown Rio.

Where to Stay

We do not recommend for you to get a hotel in Santa Teresa as this neighbourhood has difficult access. Try to look for hotels, aribnbs and hostels in ‘Zona Sul’ (south zone area of Rio). We recommend to look for places to stay in Copacabana, Ipanena, Leblon, the very nice touristic neighbourhoods in Rio. These are also the beach neighbourhoods. We also recommend Botafogo as a nice place to stay, a very bohemian neighbourhood with many cool bars and restaurants. How to Get There

The ceremony and party will be at the same address. In Rio we take Uber everywhere, so just order one when you are ready to go to the ceremony. We recommend always taking Uber Black, they are nice and all the cars have air-conditioner (trust me you will need it, it's Rio!). And the Uber black drivers usually are very polite. If you are on a budget you can order an Uber Confort, but these sometimes don't have air-conditioner and they drive with the windows down, which is not very safe in Rio. Don't take Uber X, ok? The cars - and sometimes drivers - are not very good. Make sure to check the traffic conditions on the day of the event, Rio is a very big city and we tend to have traffic congestions very often, even on Saturdays.

Good to Know

The ceremony will take place on an outdoor lawn/grass area. The access to the ceremony is through a bit steep staircase. The party will be inside a building, which access is also through a staircase. Take that into account when choosing your heels, ok? If the forecast is windy, don't forget to bring a jacket or scarf.

Dress Code

Guest tend to come very sharp and well dressed to wedding celebrations in Brazil. Women usually do their make-up and hair with a professional, but this is absolutely not mandatory. The important thing is that you feel pretty, comfortable and ready to party! If you would like to get your hair and make-up done with a professional, let me know and I give you some contacts and help you fix an appointment.

Women's Dress Code

The dress code is formal, but this does not mean you need to spend hundreds of euros in a dress. As long as you wear a long dress that makes you feel pretty, comfortable and elegant, it will be perfect. The wedding starts during sunset, so a light and flowy dress is a good idea. If you are not sure if you choice of dress if fitted to the occasion, just send me a pic of it and I will help you out :)

Men's Dress Code

A nice suit or a nice blazer is just perfect. Wearing a tie is optional but we very much encourage you to wear one.

To confirm attendance, you will be redirected to another website once you press the button below this section. There you can fill in your information and your party guests' as well. The website is in Portuguese but you can find a little flag on the right top corner of the page which allows you to change the page's language to english. If you access the website through the phone, the language setting will be on the menu (the three line icon), also in the top right corner of the page. Please make sure to fill in the form with your full name and all the requested info, including food and beverages restrictions and. Also, to get a little gift from us, we need your shoe size (we need this info from the ladies only, ok?).
